Happy Birthday Rocco!

Happy 5th Birthday wishes for Rocco! He enjoyed a special (and busy) birthday weekend with doggy daycare, a playdate at the dog park with his girlfriend Chloe, a trip to Nichols College for the homecoming weekend football game, a visit to Pawsmopolitan for the Curly Tail Pug Rescue, a giant new Cuz toy, sweater and leash/collar set.......and....

Curly Tail Pug Rescue

Rocco went to Pawsmopolitan for a fundraiser party for Curly Tail Pug Rescue and had a blast. We took home lots of goodies, and no pugs unfortunately because they were all so adorably sweet. Rocco especially had a fun time playing with a young pug named Yoda (as much as possible as Yoda has special health restrictions right now) and a really cute, very tiny BT girl.

Rescues are also suffering the tough economic climate, more and more dogs are being turned over to rescues and shelters as their owners are no longer able to provide for their basic needs, housing or medical needs and as everyone has less and less money, there are fewer and fewer donations to help lessen the burden on volunteer-based rescues.

Fall Photo Shoot (Attempts)

I'm trying to get some fall pics done for the boys to go in our dinner party invitations and for our Woofboard Halloween/Fall card swap. Friday afternoon was my first shoot, pretty much a complete bust, these are the only salvageable pictures that resulted. I will have to try again when I have a helper, trying to juggle leashes, bait and take pics was difficult to say the least...
