King of the Kong

Rocco's favorite daily pasttime is playing with his Kong. It gives him something to do during the day and is a way to keep him stimulated too.

Here is Rocco enjoying a frozen Kong stuffed with banana, Kong liver treats and yogurt then frozen in the freezer over nite- as you can imagine- this keeps him busy for a little while!

Hide A Squirrel

Dad got Rocco a new toy at Petco today, Mom had been looking for it but it was always sold out. It is a stuffed animal dog puzzle called "Hide A Squirrel", it is basically a stuffed toy shaped like a stump with three stuffed animal "squirrels" (actually they're chipmunks) that are hidden inside. Also, you can hide treats inside which Mom plans to do during the week.

The Sacrificial Squirrel

This squirrel was a sacrificial squirrel. Once there were three squirrels, now only two. Funny thing was that Rocco broke the squeaker on one squirrel, but was playing with a squirrel with a working squeaker; he put away the one with the working squeaker and and proceeded to tear the stuffing out of the broken one.

Dad and Rocco take a (late) road trip to the Planet Dog Woofminster Dog Show and Cover Dog Contest. Rocco was in the Best of Show and had a 1 in 10 chance of winning. Unfortunately no such luck this time- but we will be back next year. Rocco was definetly Mr.Congenialuty though and it was a great Dad/Dog Bonding Trip to Maine and back. As you can see, Rocco was very, very tired later and spent the night with Mom and Sarah watching movies.
