Rocco went to Pawsmopolitan for a fundraiser party for Curly Tail Pug Rescue and had a blast. We took home lots of goodies, and no pugs unfortunately because they were all so adorably sweet. Rocco especially had a fun time playing with a young pug named Yoda (as much as possible as Yoda has special health restrictions right now) and a really cute, very tiny BT girl.
Rescues are also suffering the tough economic climate, more and more dogs are being turned over to rescues and shelters as their owners are no longer able to provide for their basic needs, housing or medical needs and as everyone has less and less money, there are fewer and fewer donations to help lessen the burden on volunteer-based rescues.
