Curious Rocco Goes to Daycare

Rocco loves daycare and the daycare loves him. My kid is the fat, funny kid ;)

I love to see his excitement when we pull up to daycare, he loves to great the receptionist and doesn't even glance back at his Momma on his way to a day full of fun.

And picking him up....he's so excited like wants to tell you all about his exciting adventures.

Notice anything in the picturers? Yes, Rocco is the only small dog in the "big dog" area, but shhh don't tell him

So what does Rocco do at daycare? I asked that they take some pictures for his blog and here they are:

Agilty

Rocco loves to go to Agility, he is good with the obstacles (jumps, tunnels, weave poles, etc.), but not so good with the focus. He likes to be the class clown and sometimes races around goofing off and running the course on his own.

Dexter tagged along with us to class this week and worked the course with his Dad, he was a natural! Too bad he has a full course load right now, he starts his theraphy dog training on Monday for the next 7 weeks, but maybe sometime he can go play again.

This is Why We Go to Daycare

Rocco goes to Daycare on Fridays- typically he visits for 8 or so hours- it's the equivalent of camp. There is a pool, a play yard, toys to climb on and cubbies to nap in (plus it's air conditioned). It's a fun treat for Rocco and he's a big hit at daycare (it's also a nice rest for Goob who gets a quiet day at home to himself).

Rocco got an extra visit to daycare today, and he was very tired when he got home.

Goobie takes his responsibility filing in for his Dad seriously. Rocco is tucked into bed and my little man is sleeping on my feet watching Animal Planet. He's such a cutie, is it any wonder why I like my dogs better than most people?

We were busy today

Rain isn't good for much, but it is good for getting stuff done around the house.

I took the opportunity to redecorate the living room, it was in need of a facelift in the form of nice, big comfy pillows, shampooing the carpet and a beautiful new area rug. Joe was pleasantly surprised when he stopped home after paintball. Of course the boys settled right in on the new rug, yes, even Rocco could lay on the floor for a comfy new rug.

I took the big zebra print pillow that was in the living room and moved it to the guest room (aka the boys' room) where it matches the black and white accents. The yellow suede and burnt orange throw pillows that were in guest room moved to the master bedroom where they fit perfectly in the new sitting area.

We've been here a little over a year now and things are really coming together to a nice little home.
